In order to load a new
retina and - at the same time - to get an
initial configuration click the button
Retina.
A new window will appear,
which enables the user to choose a retina file
from an arbitrary directory.
SCARLET'S retina interpreter will accept every
valid RDL-program.
Other files are rejected returning an error message in a separate window
( i.e., parse error... together with more detailed information on
the kind of error).
If the file has been accepted the settings
will change.
The name of the retina - which has been determined in the
headline
of the belonging program using (RETINA <Name>;),
- and its range will be shown in the
settings-box behind Retina:
But, of course, it is much more important to notice that the
initial configuration of the retina
loaded is displayed in the pane of the window.
Sometimes it may be desirable to restore the initial configuration again after
having performed some steps of the simulation.
But now that the name of the file is already known it is not necessary to open
the load window and to do all the
choosing again. In this case simply use the
Reload button.
