5.1 Short Description

	Create a local rule table as a SDL program as well as a matching retina together with an initial configuration as a RDL program using a text editor. Save them in different files (suggested file extensions: sdl and rdl).
	Run SCARLET by executing the program file: ./scarlet
	Activate a local rule table which is already compiled or
	load and compile a SDL program.
	Load an initial configuration (RDL program) which is compatible to the local rule table.
	Select the desired view and simulation options part of the retina shown state indications and coordinates coordinate system (In case of a 1-dimensional retina: Wrap) step size
	Run as many time steps of the simulation as set by the chosen step size.
	If necessary: Change retina or local rule table (if it is not compatible choose Drop old to react to the appearing message.) view or simulation options Reload the initial configuration. (Important: the current configuration displayed on the screen will be lost!)
	Quit SCARLET.
