5.2.5 Incompatibility

Sometimes it may happen that a certain retina should be loaded although an incompatible local rule table is still active, or the other way around - maybe by accident or because it has been your intention to load a completely new CA. However, SCARLET will indicate the invalidity of this action displaying an error message:

In case of a mistake you may want to keep to the old situation (and not to add the second incompatible component); then you choose Drop new; but normally you will be sure you want to load the new file, then click on Drop old; SCARLET will remove the existing incompatible component automatically.
